This was false advertisement. There are clearly autumn leaves on the cover, which is why I am reading it in October, and yet it takes place during SUMMER! What the heck !! I haven't a clue why they chose this cover, but I'm sure the author is probably annoyed about it too, since whoever OK'd it clearly did not read her book.

Anyway. This book was okay. I liked the side characters a lot better than Charlotte tbh. Her back and forth with Max was pretty annoying since it was just thrown in for the ~drama~. She said over and over again she wasn't interested in him, yet she was still leading him on. Honestly, Max shouldn't have pursued her anyway since she was his coworker's daughter. It was also really weird that when she ate dinner with Henry at the diner they sat on the same side of the table ????

Gigi was fun. I love a small town setting. I wish we actually got to go to the book club they kept mentioning.

This story is sweet. It's funny and intelligent. It's heartwarming and it made me smile. I loved reading this book. The characters and the town are so much fun and I can't get enough of them. I am definitely looking forward to reading more from Nina.

I didn't enjoy quite as nearly as the first book in the series, but still a solid read.

This is such a sweet story. I was looking forward to this story after reading the first book and it was worth the wait. Sweet, cute and perfect.

2.5 stars. Good writing. I did not enjoy the story and 2 lovers because it was just so obvious who she would choose. The lack of memory also was annoying.

I really, really enjoyed this small town, second chance, friends to lovers romance with great disability rep! A new to me author, Nina Bocci impressed me with her charming, sweet romance featuring big city girl Charlotte Bishop, who gets fired from her NYC job and is forced to return home to Hope Lake.

Torn away by her mother at a young age when her parent's divorced, Charlotte hasn't been back home in years and has trouble remembering her time there. Hardest of all to remember is her former best friend Sam, the adorably sweet high school English teacher who has cochlear implants to help him hear after a childhood accident. Great on audio, this book gave me all the sweet, fall vibes I was looking for and worked as a standalone too.

This book was a cute, quick read about a woman returning home to the small town that she left when she was 10. Her memories of the town and the people who live there were tainted by her mother, who never wanted her to return. I enjoyed reading about Charlotte’s rekindled relationship with her friends and her grandmother. I didn’t find this book deep or highly entertaining, but it was a quick and light read.

The second in a series that I highly suggest starting at the beginning. This book centers around a different character than book one, but the characters from book one make many appearances and it is more fun knowing what happened in book one before reading this one.

Charlotte Bishop has had a tough time in New York and decides to move back to a small town that she barely remembers from the few years she lived there in her childhood. She has always had a dream to open her floral shop and this dream becomes a reality through some interesting twists and turns. She is also able to reconnect to her grandmother and her dad and start making new memories in a town that had a negative space in her mind.

I love these books! Charlotte used to live in Hope Lake until her mother left with her when she was 10. She hasn't been back since and when she arrives in town she is shocked at how cute and nice it is. She also forgot her friends and oh my heart hurt for Henry. You can tell how much he cares for Charlotte, but he can't do a temporary thing with her. He already got his heartbroken when she left the first time and he doesn't want to do that again, but there is just this connection between the two of them.

Charlotte could be a bit...frustrating at times, but it all works out in the end. A cute read and I can't wait for the next book!
