i find their inner monologues to be repetitive and redundant. also their inner monologues feel like they are trying to be unhinged and it’s not working. it feels fake.

as for the taboo nature of this book it’s gross. straight up! i knew what i was getting into but i also didn’t. i thought the step dad didn’t raise him but he did from when he was baby. anyway i can’t complain i was looking to see if i could i stomach it and i didn’t even have time to stay grossed out. i just kept thinking this feels fake.

when i tell you these make me lol for all the wrong reasons. conflict resolution is done so fast, characters falling in love is never on page, lube is never present, the men are always in love despite not seeing or talking to each for years and all the characters are horrible but get better out of nowhere. one the mmcs literally used the f slur. i gasped on the subway… and it all forgiven in one convo. i had to laugh bec what? i literally had to check if the author was a man after that… yes he is

it’s bizarre and entertaining but i do have to apologize to sophie kinsella bec she would never.

with a hundred more pages of character and romance building i would’ve loved this. the characters are weird and childish asl. kind of reminds me of sophie kinsella books i’ve read but without romance and character building and with smut. not a lot of smut which appreciated.

i’m going to read the blaze bec i think he character in that invent for a male and male to have child…? that so out there i want to see!

uhm… i like to sit with the romance building and this started with popsicles being sucked suggestively and pegging.

i just can’t get over ivy just bulldozed through hart like that. she just assumed he was gay(men with husband could be bi or pan why is she assuming?) and went ahead started telling ppl. she didn’t even bother talking to him or listening to him. she should’ve talked to him the moment she got the text! you could argue in the beginning she was trying defend hart. everything after was jaw dropping.

i think it’s supposed to show how passionate and hard working she is. it didn’t come across that way. i get she doing a lot for “diversity” in ny schools but a white cis het woman just taking over and doing what she thinks is right? i can’t! and now she want get between their relationship? it’s so ichy!

i know it’s supposed to be light hearted but from experience there are always those well meaning cadaan ppl who just make things worse and she symbolizes that to me. i would’ve cont if she wasn’t the mfc but she is so pass.

this was cute but needed at least fifty pages of marco and wick time. they were strangers but were saying i love you after having a couple of threesomes. i think they had like one date. we spent so much time on addressing family and society and we should’ve spent that time with building their romance imo. hell if could’ve cut down the smut spent it with them would’ve been better.

i think when it came to meg and the guys the relationship building was done well. she knew them both for a long time and we saw her interact with them enough that it worked out.

uhm i didn’t read the first book bec i don’t care how horrible nash was but a dad should choose his son. what do you mean he slept his sons girl? and then married her? also zara has boundary issues. she chose the dad so back off? there was a scene ellis could see how zara kept blurring the boundaries between her and nash. i wish we had spent more time with that. it was mentioned once and never revisited.

hanna was not needed in this book. i rolled my eyes every time her chapter came up. like i understood her struggle but not when it came to nash. ellis and nash? no notes! well i still find being whipped being therapeutic hard to believe but hey i’ll take y’all’s word for it.

half way through this book things got a little less horror. for me to get board on this relationship i need more loïc and value time without horrific sex. also the obsession with “breeding”? 🤢🤮 omg it was hard to read.

anyway the first book was better bec i felt more scared. in this book loïc was humanized and i’m not really into humanizing stalkers.

i read this book as horror so i found none of it hot. loïc is all my fear manifested.

this couple might the most tstl couple i’ve ever read about. omg no kink and i mean no kink is worth this. my anxiety was at a thousand. was the husband a dick? yes but no one deserves to be treated like that.

breeding kink heavy in this one. also like why would you trust a proven unhinged stranger to speak to your doctor for you about birth control when he TOLD you he wants to get you pregnant???? personally i hate when romance books  end with oreganancy so breeding kink is so not for me esp when done in this manner.

anyway i was entertained on to the next.
