This was read as an E-Arc on Netgalley, so thankyou to Netgalley for providing the chance for such an impactful book to be read by reviewers.
This book is an excelent collation of information and experiences about dyslexia, it provides those with dyslexia and other disabilities that affect reading to feel seen, and it provides such great insight and information for those who aren't in that category.
I highly recommend this book to everyone, as it is such an important conversation that NEEDS to be had. I know too many people who have been failed by the education system, including myself, who need you to hear stories like theirs.

The chapter 'Acknowledge, Advocate and Accomodate' is a very useful collation of information and actions different types of people need to make to help the dyslexic community, and it was amazing.
The rest of the book was such a relatable and saddening look into the perspectives of 50 dyslexic adults.
Their stories need to be heard.

This was read as a Netgalley E-arc. Thankyou Netgalley for allowing reviewers to have their say about such an important and needed book!

A really good book for explaining pronouns to children! It also covers neopronouns and different genders and things that a lot of other childrens books don't ever cover! Also this is a great book if your child has expressed that they aren't cisgender, so they have a way to learn and explore pronouns that are right for them!

4.5, just because of the ambiguous ending, but I get it. I just feel like I'm on a cliffhanger.

But this book was amazing! Such a raw truth and a heart wrenching punch in the gut book...

PTW's: Suicide, Abuse, potential sexual assault, self harm, on page abortion scene, misgendering (accidental and intentional).

I LOVED the amount of representation in this book and I related so much! I wish this was in a series, mostly because I'm really not a fan of ambiguous or open endings. That's the only reason mainly for the half a star taken off.
I would recommend this book to everyone, honestly, but especially to those who identify as LGBTQIA+ and/or Neurodivergent.

Read as a Netgalley E-arc, so thankyou to Netgalley!
This was a really nice and wholesome book! I'm not sure how it would have impacted me personally as a child, but it is definitely an important message, to slow down and enjoy the simpler, natural things!
