It was a rather short read but fun nonetheless.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 59%.
When I started reading this book I was so excited that I thought this one will be easily an another 5.0 for me but I was hugely disappointed. The chapters at the start were very interesting, introducing the various art forms in the circus. But after reaching mid novel, it started to get extremely boring.

So, I finally decided that there was no point in reading it any further. The main problem was that the story didn't keep me engaged, it definitely wasn't a page turner for me.

I don't really read romance novels but I picked this one up for the want of exploring the magical realism genre it offered. I truly enjoyed reading both the books in this duology.

Though the ending was bittersweet
, every part of the story finally fell in it's rightful place like pieces of a puzzle. All the loose ends tied and beautifully executed. Love conquers all. Love of friends, family, your significant other as well as the people you come across who help you along the way.

I will recommend this book to anyone who is looking to read a story that will captivate their hearts and minds for a long period. I had a great time reading it. Looking forward to exploring more books from the author.

This book was not what I thought it was. I don't know if I should laugh at the stories or be horrified beyond belief. I have decided to laugh. So...

😆 🤣 😂 😁

Anne Frank's Diary: The Graphic Adaptation by Anne Frank

Anne Frank's diary ends here.
That was the last & the most haunting sentence I have read. I have gone through many versions of Anne's diary but this graphical adaptation touched me the most. They were so near to being freed from the hellish nightmare but someone just wanted to see the world burn and told on them.

That last sentence gives me chills everytime. She would've been an impressive writer in this day & age. I first read this book I think when I was about the same age as her and now when I read this version it feels even more dark and depressing. But she was brave to the very end.

Anne, you and your powerful words continue to live among each of us readers. You are deeply missed.
