A cute and easy read, with a good story and an adorable ending. But definitely not my favourite by the author.

Maybe I'm a Steven King girly after all? This is the only book I've read by him, other than The Shining. Whilst it wasn't my favourite, the story had potential. And I see myself liking more of his other books. A good story with lots of tension, but it was very dragged out and felt a little repetitive? Idk how to explain in. Overall, an okay read. Nothing amazing.

I fear I am a Jacks girly myself. But I'm not mad at Tella for choosing Legend either.
I liked the fact this book had more romance in it, without taking away it's other aspects. And the ending was good, it just took a while to get there...

"I've taught myself how to be okay with fragments of feeling, but I don't want that with you. I want more than what you've given me. I want to give you more of me too. I love you, Nova girl."

Oh, Charlie Milford, the fictional man that you are.

After Mixed Signals, I didn't think B.K. would be able to top it. Boy was I wrong. This book was everything I wanted in a romance book and more. Chemistry from Chapter 1. The most lovable characters. The funniest banter. NO THIRD ACT BREAKUP. (Which is the only problem I've had with the author's other books.)

I physically can't explain how much you need to read this book. Even if you don't read the others in the series. 10/10. Perfect. No notes.

This book. I am so sad I read it so quickly, because I wasn't ready for it to be over. The hilarious banter, the slow burn, the way he fell first and possibly harder. Everything about the romance aspect of this book was perfect.

However, I do wish we saw more of Charlie's home life and that it had some more original plot lines. (It felt like the author reused some parts from Better Than The Movies.)

If you want a cute and cosy read that keeps you entertained, this books is 100% a good choice.

"You intoxicate me, Daisy. The scent of flowers lingers on you everywhere you go, and I always want to follow."

Whilst the writing in this book wasn't anything complex, I found myself completely enveloped in the story. I loved the characters and the yearning. The complimentary way that the MMC spoke to the FMC was everything. I was rooting for them from the beginning.

I'll admit, from around 52% this book is all miscommunication. But the author did it well, so I'm not too mad about it. And the quotes at the start of the chapters merging into a BOOK OF FRENCH POEMS HE WROTE COMPLETELY ABOUT HER?! That was the cherry on top.

I 100% recommend this book. A cute and easy read, with the most annotatable sentences.
