We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson

I loved this book. I related to Merricat from the beginning and I don't know if it's from reading authors that have been influenced by Jackson, but even though I had a feeling where the story was headed, I was at peace and understood the minute everything was revealed. Is it bad to think like Merricat?

A story within a story within a story. The Wind Through the Keyhole gave closure on a relationship from Roland's past and there was also a visit from the man in black. I found myself looking up things from the dark tower series that I'd forgotten and just like any other King book, there are probably crossovers that I missed on the first reading I'll catch when I read it again. Thankya, Mr. King.

Am I correct in saying that this is the longest Coben novel? It was a fun read, though it didn't get into my top 5 favorite Coben novels. Cassie won me over halfway through the book and I loved Lorraine from the beginning. Was Broome in a previous novel? The twins were crazy and I think the way Lorraine described Ken pretty much summed up what I thought about them. I loved the usual Coben twists and I can't wait for the next Myron novel!
