Halle and Henry were such a warm and gentle couple. It had been a long time since I've read Icebreaker and Wildfire, so I couldn't remember much about Henry. After reading Grace's Author Note at the beginning discussing his lack of diagnoses, I wasn't sure what I was getting into. I understand her reasoning for not giving his a diagnosis, but with Halle giving Henry the same accommodations that she gives her sister with ADHD it was obvious what he was dealing with. And it's surprising that Halle wouldn't have wanted to him work it out and get help with it seeing as she is a chronic people pleaser.

I loved the slow burn, which is surprising because I typically hate those. I feel like Halle and Henry progressed in their relationship so perfectly right for their personalities and it was fun reading their story. This was really well written. I didn't find that it was too slow or fast. I didn't like Henry's action towards the end of the book, and Halle is so much more patient than me because I wouldn't have been able to do what she did. I loved that the ending what we all expected. Romance stories always want to end with a pretty bow on them, but thats not life. I think this was a great reflection of reality.

First let me say I really enjoyed this story. I think Tanvier Pert is a great writer and wrote a really compelling romance and I'm looking forward to book #2.

Second, Justice got on my nerves! She was very insecure and the miscommunication trope just bugged the hell out of me. I hate that trope anyway, but I deal with it since it's in sooooo many books.
Since they broke up because Justice thought Terrence cheated, I don't think it was necessary to have that be the conflict again after they got back together. And even then I could deal with it, but to then have her not communicate again!? and not speak to him about her suspicious was just incredibly childish and annoying. When they split up, she just left him without an explanation and ghosted. You don't ghost someone when you've been together 10+ years.

Terrence was so patient dealing with Justice's insecurities and lack of communication skills. I will admit he acted like a stupid man while at the couple's retreat and many a time I wanted to knock him out because why would you do that Terrence?!?!? Especially when you're trying to get your woman back🙄

This was super cute! Jules and Colt were such a fun couple and I really enjoyed their back and forth. Jules wasn't too over the top when she was being "mean" towards Colt at the beginning, which I appreciated.

I found the big Las Vegas secret to be very low stakes, and it wasn't that deep for her to basically change her entire life over. Nothing really happened beside the
marriage
and that was resolved quickly. Also, there were a few characters where I feel like we should've known them already, but I kept getting confused. I didn't read Book #1, but I assumed this was a interconnect standalone in the Boston Rebels series, so it shouldn't have been so difficult to connect to those other side characters. I just needed a little more than was given.

I thought the ending wrapped up too quickly and very anti-climatic. Overall I really enjoyed the story.

Going into this book I was expecting some crazy shenanigans like in Books 1 & 2, but that wasn't the case with Queen Move. This was such a sweet story, and still packed the same amount of drama that the other All the Kings Men books had, minus a kidnapping.

I read this in under 24 hours. I just couldn't put it down. Ryan had me hooked in the first few pages. I'm a big friends to lovers fan and this was the epitome of that trope. Ezra and Kimba have known each other since diapers, and not even year apart could separate their hearts.

You could feel their love for each other jump off the page. And the spicy scenes were typical Kennedy Ryan - F*CKING FANTASTIC!

I wasn't the biggest fan of the shocking twist at the end. Quite frankly it p*ssed me off. Kimba was better than me because I don't think I could've handled it the same as she did. If I had one critique it would be how the story wrapped up. It was very quick with not much action/drama. We only got glimpses of them dealing with it and it wrapped up too easily. I think it could've been fleshed out more. I know there are lots of opinions on how long romance books should be, but this was only 334 pages long and I think an extra 30 pages could've been added to work through the ending better.

Overall I LOVE Queen Move and adore Ezra and Kimba.

It’s a little too tame and slow for me. I was reading it consistently and then stopped and it was hard to pick back up. When I finally did I was very bored. I’ll pick it back up some other time and finish because it really was a cute story.

The author used “attacked her senses” too many times/variations. Why can’t her sense just be felt? Why do they have to be getting attacked? I don’t like that phrase anyway and this was used at least 5 times in 27 pages. It was just too much

This was such a fun read! Maeve and Ezra had good chemistry and the banter had me cracking up. The way this enemies to lovers trope was presented is how I think it should always be done. Too many times its usually rivals/annoyance to lovers, but they really didn't like each other and went out of their way to mess with the other. I also think this was a good representation of grumpy x sunshine. He wasn't a mean bully, and she didn't let him walk all over her.

Stranded on an island was a fun concept and I haven't read one like it before. I obviously knew they would get off the island, but the lead up to rescue was exciting. There was a plot twist (but maybe not and I just wasn't following) that had me screaming!

Overall I really enjoyed this story. There were a few things just so far fetched but then again, its a fake love story. Anything can happen and it was entertaining!

I only read this because I loved the show and movie, but I found this to be incredibly slow so I was bored. I’ll come back to it eventually and try to finish it as it is a beautiful story (from what I know of the show).

JL Seegars is a beautiful writer. With every book in the New Haven series, her writing storytelling gets better and better. Reclaim Me hit close to home with the subject matter, but it was written with such tact and real consideration that I wasn't truly triggered like I feared I would be.

Hunter and Rae's love story was inevitable. They knew each other's souls, and no matter how many years they had apart their hearts were always aligned. Hunter grew into a great man, and was such a great father. Rae was really playing herself being with Aaron for as long as she was, especially when they moved to New Haven. As soon as she saw Hunter I know she knew they would end up back in each other's arms.
ESPECIALLY when his first thought when learning about their child was "When can I meet her", making her his first priority. He had love for this baby that he had only learned of a couple of minutes ago, more love than Aaron had ever shown almost her entire life
Seegars knows how to write a man. Every single mmc in the New Haven series is the epitome of a book boyfriend - everything you could ever want, a man that treats you like a queen, puts it down like it's his purpose in life and loves his woman with everything he has.

Reclaim Me is a story of heartache, true love and self-determination. It was about finding yourself again, for you and not for anyone else.

I loved this book! After reading Bridesmaid for Hire, I just HAD to get the arc for Bridesmaid Undercover. (thank you Good Girl PR)

Hardy hires Everly to be a "bridesmaid" for his best friends' wedding, but also for another undercover job. Hardy thinks he's ready to settle down, and since his college girlfriend has moved back to town and is in the wedding he must get back with her. Except she wants nothing to do with him. Enter Everly to help Hardy woo is ex-girfriend back, even while Everly is crushing hard on Hardy.

This was hilarious! Meghan Quinn is a hilarious writer. The comedy is fresh and doesn't seem too put on. Even when some of the dialogue could be cringe, it's still so funny. It was so sweet seeing Everly and Hardy fall in love. It was a classic case of not knowing you're in love until someone points it out. The quintessential friends to lovers trope. The banter was so fun! It was so obvious as soon as they started working together that they'd fall in love. Their souls aligned.
