This might be my favorite in the Carolina Comets series. Miller is such a wholesome guy, and I think everyone is too mean to him to be honest. I kept getting so mad when everyone gave him crap when his was being his genuine self and never! Miller was my favorite in this story. Scout was kind of boring and I felt the author could've gone a little deeper with their personalities as well as having their past effect them a little more. The way Miller was treated by his family should've had a little more influence on him as well as Scout's past. It seemed like the her father's death only effected her writing. Our pasts effect us in many ways and I thought it fell a little flat. Overall this was a wholesome story and I really enjoyed it!

I absolutely loved this!! I'm currently dealing with debilitating anxiety, just like Rhys was and it was the first time reading a character like this. Due to my anxiety, when I'm reading I literally start feeling the characters feeling deep. So when he started to talk about his anxiety and when he had a panic attack I almost thought I wouldn't be able to read it. But I continued and it was actually so therapeutic for me. Reading someone get through their anxiety inspired me that I'll get through it too. Rhys was a beautiful character with such a sweet heart. There are too many mmc who just use women and truly don't respect them (until that ONE comes along🙄) so it was refreshing to read a man who wasn't a womanizer. He had parents that were utterly in love (I want to read their story!!!! Please write it!) so he reflected what he saw growing up. Sadie was a strong character, doing what she needed to do to take care of her brothers. This was just written so well, and was so accurate to the kids' feelings dealing with absent/alcoholic parents and the older sister taking care of everyone but herself. She found someone to take care of her and defend her, something she's never had. It was such a good romance story and I'm excited to read more from this author when she releases future books. Also the spice was great! I always say that a good book won't need a lot/graphic spice to make it enjoyable. This is one of them. Spice 3/5🌶

I'm new to the why choose trope so I'm still getting use to the idea of "sharing" someone. I do feel like their relationships started naturally, unlike some others in romance. I think the issue with having so many characters and POVs is you can't get deep into the character and really know them. And sometimes I felt like the POVs were uneven. We could've gotten more from Gavin. He fell really flat as a character. I really liked Briar. Despite having such a douche of an ex, she seemed like she had her head on straight and new what she deserved once leaving him. She is a strong woman and it was great to read one of those. Overall I enjoyed the book. It was lighthearted and fun, but don't expect anything deep. And I almost stopped reading near the beginning of the book because the author chose to say "unalive" someone instead of just kill. We are adults and we are not on tiktok. Please do not use tiktok slang/phrases while writing a book. It takes the reader out of the story, especially when it was something as dumb as that.

One-Timer was a quick read and so enjoyable. I usually do not like the pregnancy trope, but this had me giggling. Hollis was lowkey crazy for real in the beginning. I was yelling when they all blamed Lowell. He was honestly a good guy and didn't really have any negatives. He did mess up close to the end, but a little communication between then would've solved the issue. I loved the texing conversations. It really gave you a glimpse into their dynamic. You don't always get that in romances. I wish the book was longer. We could've had either more of her pregnancy, or more of the newborn stage. I would've loved to see them figuring out how to be parents together, especially after revealing their feelings for each other. Lowell was so caring for Hollis so it would've been cute to see him with the baby. Spice 3.5/5🌶

Shay and Noah had such a cute relationship. I know this is always what happens with fake dating - they start developing feelings but talks themselves out of thinking the other person does too. And I love fake dating!!! But this got on my nerves. It was obvious from the start that Noah was in love with Shay. Despite his grumpiness and scowls, girl he offered marriage and then literally started acting like your husband. And when yall finally started hooking up, you still didn't think he was all in?!?!

Shay had such a good character arc. She was really broke down by the break-up, and by the end she saw what a POS the ex-fiance was. I REALLY REALLY wish Noah would've punched him, especially after putting hands on Shay.

I feel like we could've learned more abut Noah. All we hear about his past is that he was quiet and wanted to get out of the town. I think we learned more about his sister than him. I wish we had a glimpse into their friendship earlier, instead of near the end with the letters. We got an idea of who Shay was as a teen, but he was sorely missing and it would've gave Noah a bit more depth.

Noah was a little freak so I quite enjoyed the spice 3/5🌶

First off I want to say I haven’t read the previous books. This was the first of Cookie & Co. so obviously I’m not sure how it was it the others, but like d*mn I get it! Yall are in love! You don’t have to profess your love every other page. Almost all of the dialogue sounded like the pivotal moment in a romcom where someone is processing their love. Not a natural sounding dialogue and it was constantly like this through the entire book. I almost wanted to skim ahead. And during the spicy scenes!!! Who is being that eloquent during a freaking o*gy😭😭😭 overall it was cute, but then men should also be in love too in my opinion lmaoo

When I tell you this had me losing my mind after every chapter!!! This was such a beautiful, frustrating story. I can typically guess what is going to happen next while reading, but this always had me surprised. Combine that with the small amount of spice scenes (& not overly explicit) shows how well this was written. You don't always need all that extra-ness to make your story great. Great storytelling makes it great.

B and Jamie are everything you do and don't want in a relationship. They understand each other on a level you can only get to if you're soulmates, but also just couldn't get it right to be that amazing couple they wanted to be. They both have issues that prevented them from getting it together. But truthfully B was the biggest problem. She treated him so badly and he just accepted it. And then when it was his turn to be selfish (and for good reason) she completely gives up on him. SPOILER: he didn't even give up on her when he was married! As soon as she got off that plane they both knew deep down they'd never be over.

I felt the ending was a little anticlimactic. I loved reading Jamie's side of the situations, but I honestly could've done with less, and got more of when they were actually together. We don't even find out how many kids they end up having. I was really scared that there wasn't going to be a HEA, but I think I'm just traumatized from the book One Day.

I loved this so much and will definitely be buying a physical copy.
