This is a fantastic start to a new fantasy series and I definitely get vibes like Sarah J Maas. This is a multi-perspective novel which enhances the experience and story line that the author has created which is amazing. The characters are dynamic and the way that they have been written means that they are able to adapt to the plot as this develops. I enjoyed the world which has been created and I could imagine this world vividly and the characters enhances this. I can not wait to read the further novels in the series.

This was a different type of thriller for me as I would not usually go for the spy setting. This is very factually correct for the time period that it is set in. Myself was only one when this was set however on discussing book with others they have advised that this is what life was like. The characters have been dynamically constructed so that they are able to adapt to the environment whether this is in the UK or overseas. I will definitely be recommending this novel to some people that love James Bond as this is going to be their thing.

This was a fantastic start to a new Fantasy series and Denise has made this a strong foundation for building on this. I love the well rounded characters who develop during the storyline and we can see that there is a potential romance bubbling under the main storyline. The world is set in the real world however there is subtle details that has been changed which means that this adds to the mystical elements of the world which make it different from the one that we live in. Between the characters and the world building this has captured me and can not wait to be able to fit in the sequel into a TBR in the future.

This was a book which I didn't know I needed. I am a long term sufferer with Chronic Illnesses and have long struggled with the idea that I need to be perfect for everyone in my life and this took a toll on my health further. Tom Collins & Michele Molitor have put forward ideas and theories in an easy to understand manner which means that everyone can use. I also enjoyed that there were journal prompts for you to use and other resources which they have made and also other links for further information. I am so glad that this is on my Kindle and that I can go in and out of this as I need it.

This was nothing like I expected after reading the Blurb on the back of the book, to be honest I don't know what I was expecting. This was not one mystery ..... it was 4 mysteries all in one and they all involved the same cast of characters and everyone had something to hide. I think there was only 3 truly innocent characters and one of them dies (in blurb). We have to find out all of the intricacies and lies that people are telling along with McKenzie and his side kick. By the end of the novel the guilty individuals are piling up and the you realise that the guilty parties are only really guilty because of the time period .... if some of these things happened in 2024 then they would not be crimes. I have immediately gone and added the rest of the books to my wishlist.

This was so funny and had me laughing out loud with some of the descriptions that Ashley and Chris partake in this story. We however get an insight into the internal politics which are present in the clinical setting. I loved reading about this and found this informative fictional story which hit all of boxes for me. I would read more from this author and also these characters. I wonder if Alex Lancer has plans to give us more in this setting or if they have any plans to release more works soon.

While reading this, I was trying to decide what it reminded me of and then it came to me Red Sparrow. Yes we are back with Mina and Oliver and their budding relationship however they don't get a chance to enjoy this when their world imploded. This books was full of actions and twist & turns for the characters - which is depicted by the different storylines for Mina and Oliver. They both have different desires for the outcomes and do these outcomes align .... you will have to read to find this out. The ending had me on a cliff hanger and I need the next installment to see what happens.

I am definitely in my Romance Era. I loved the sweet and emotional story that our two main characters go through in finding their love for each other and who do they have to thank - the sweetest little 6 year old bean Toby. Oh yeah and one disgusting human from Rosie's previous job which leads her to take up the job with Matt and Toby. This is a story of grief and how it can cause people to become shut off from the possibility of falling in love. The author has an unique way of writing her story which had me invested from the moment Rosie and Matt meet. Yes they have issues along the way from communication to an persistent force in Matts life however love ultimately prevails. You need to read this if you need a cozy hug of a book.

It took me a while to get into this however once I had hit the 75 page mark I was unable to put it down. It was such an interesting concept for a Sci-fi which I personally had not read before and I think this was the thing that hooked me. I enjoyed that author had diverse and dynamic characters which were adapting to the storyline and not the other way round. This meant that during the 'investigation' scene things flowed better and made the whole thing so much more enjoyable to read. I can not wait to read the sequel.
